ITS name??

Nama BLUE-ray berasal dari laser ungu-biru(blue-violet laser), sebuah format yang digunakan untuk membaca dan menulis CD, lawannya adalah laser merah yang digunakan untuk DVD. Panjang gelombangnya yang pendek dari laser biru membuat semakin banyak data yang bisa dimuat di CD tersebut.

ITS size??

Layer tunggal dari CD blue-ray dalam memuat 2 jam video yang high-difinition sekaligus dengan audionya,kira-kira 25 GB.

Ada

juga CD blue-ray dual layer,kapasitasnya 50GB.TDK (sebuah perusahaan CD) merencanakan mengeluarkan CD blue-ray berkapasitas 200 GB.

Sebenarnya data yang dimuat dalam disc BLUE-ray rentan banget mengalami kerusakan,secara data tersebut diletakkan di permukaan disc. Tapi TBK kemudian membuat sebuah pelapis polymer untuk melapisi CD sehingga CD BLUE-ray terbebas dari kerusakan.
